Verstappen Slams Journalists Over Controversial Media Questions

Max Verstappen isn’t holding back when it comes to dealing with the media.

“If you ask me a stupid question, you get a stupid answer.”

The four-time world champion didn’t mince words when asked on the Talking Bull podcast what the media could do better in his ideal version of Formula 1.

“Don’t ask that many stupid questions,” he bluntly responded.

When the podcast moved to fan questions, Verstappen jokingly added: “No stupid questions!”

It’s not the first time the Red Bull star has shown his frustration with certain lines of questioning.

## Verstappen’s Abu Dhabi media clash

Despite an impressive comeback drive, Verstappen narrowly missed securing his fifth world title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, finishing just two points behind Lando Norris in the final standings.

During the post-race press conference, a journalist brought up his earlier season clash with George Russell in Barcelona, suggesting it might have cost him the championship.

Verstappen was clearly irritated by this framing.

“You forget all the other stuff that happened in my season. The only thing you mention is Barcelona. I knew that would come,” he fired back.

“Are you giving me a stupid grin now? I don’t know. It’s part of racing in the end. You live and learn. Championship is won over 24 rounds.”

He also pointed out that he benefited from some good fortune in the latter part of the season: “I’ve also had a lot of early Christmas presents given to me in the second half, so you can also question that.”
