Klopp will manage Red Bull’s soccer clubs around the world, like RB Leipzig in Germany, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, and New York Red Bulls in the USA. Even though this news just came out recently, Verstappen had already heard about it. “I knew for a long time already that they were talking and that it was close to being signed,” he shared. Fans might think it’s cool that Verstappen had insider info!
He believes having Klopp at the helm is fantastic because Red Bull invests heavily in soccer. With Klopp’s experience managing many clubs, he can lead their teams to even more success. Verstappen told Sky Sports in Austin that having someone like Jurgen leading is great for the organization.
