Verstappen & Lambiase to Discuss Heated Team Radio Exchange

The Belgian Grand Prix is the last race before the summer break.

Red Bull Racing has been struggling lately, leading to frustrations within the team. Helmut Marko agrees that things have not been smooth. Max Verstappen and Gianpiero Lambiase plan to discuss their recent radio messages later today.

“The atmosphere is a bit tense,” Marko shared with Kleine Zeitung right before the fourteenth F1 weekend of the season. Red Bull’s recent results haven’t met expectations, especially after their update at Hungaroring failed to deliver as hoped. Adding to this, Sergio Perez has not performed well for several races in a row, and Max Verstappen is visibly unhappy.

Verstappen’s frustration isn’t just about Hungary’s poor strategy or the underwhelming update. Before Budapest, he had already said that “some people need to wake up.”

Verstappen and Lambiase

Last Sunday’s race saw heated exchanges between Verstappen and Gianpiero Lambiase. They ignored each other’s instructions, which led to accusations of ‘childish behavior’ from both sides. Marko mentioned that they will resolve their issues: “They will sit down together and talk it out,” he said.

Fans might think this tension could affect future races .
