Verstappen Analyzes His Impressive Brazil Victory: ‘Car Had Excellent Balance’

Max Verstappen pulled off an amazing win in Formula 1, possibly the best of his career. Starting from 17th place, he zoomed through the rainy track to claim victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

A red flag during qualifying and a grid penalty for an engine change forced him to start far back, while Lando Norris began in pole position. But as Norris struggled, Verstappen shone brightly, proving why he’s a top driver and making a strong case for another title in 2024.

Verstappen’s Epic Drive

“When I went past Esteban [Ocon] in the first corner!” Verstappen exclaimed with excitement. He shared how he was building up speed slowly after the red flag because Esteban was quick at the restart. The safety car came out after Carlos Sainz crashed, allowing Verstappen to catch up and pass Ocon. “Then the restart, I got by,” he added. From that moment on, he focused on taking care of his tires since anything could happen on such a tricky track.

For once this season, the RB20 felt like it was under control. “I felt good,” Verstappen said. The car had a nice balance, but he had to stay sharp because the surface was still slippery.

Fans might think this race showed why Verstappen is one of the best ever.
