Verstappen Aims for Red Bull to Resolve Issues Ahead of Mexican Grand Prix

Max Verstappen thinks it’s super important for him and Red Bull Racing to keep doing well after the good results at the United States Grand Prix. Although he didn’t win, he stretched his lead in the Formula 1 World Championship and made it harder for Lando Norris to catch up. Verstappen wants to keep winning but knows Red Bull has some problems to fix with their new car upgrades.

Red Bull’s team, including Christian Horner, was hopeful about improvements during the United States Grand Prix. This led to Verstappen’s first race victory since June and marked the first time he gained ground on Norris since summer ended.

“We made some good steps in Austin and we need to keep this momentum heading forwards,” Verstappen shared. “Mexico is always a great race and, of course, it is Checo’s home race so is always an incredible atmosphere. The track is at such a high altitude, which you do need to adjust to a bit more, but we have historically done well here and I have always enjoyed driving at this track.”

Verstappen admits there’s still room for improvement. “We saw some promising improvements with the car, but it wasn’t quite enough for the Race. The Team are working hard to iron out these issues, but ultimately it was a step forward in the right direction and to win the Sprint was a boost for the Team.”

Verstappen wants to take ‘crucial points’ in Mexico

Now, Verstappen believes it’s all about keeping up this positive streak: “We are heading into the second race of the triple header so it will be about keeping this momentum heading forwards and continuing to gain crucial points in the Championship.”

Fans might think that if Red Bull keeps improving, they could dominate even more races.

As they prepare for Mexico, everyone wonders if they can keep up their winning ways or if new challenges will arise. What do you think?
