Tsunoda’s Qualifying Nightmare Continues with Latest Disaster

There’s just no break for Yuki Tsunoda these days. The Japanese driver crashed out in Q2 again, finishing behind both Racing Bulls cars in another disappointing qualifying session.

And that’s not even the worst of his problems.

Tsunoda has been summoned to meet with race stewards at Spa-Francorchamps at 5:45 p.m. local time. The issue? He allegedly impeded Pierre Gasly around Turn 17 during sprint qualifying.

If he avoids additional penalties, he’ll start from 12th position on tomorrow’s grid.

That puts him miles away from Max Verstappen, who showed his exceptional skill once again by claiming second place on the grid.

For Tsunoda, it’s becoming a frustratingly familiar pattern of struggles while others shine.
