Top Driver Verstappen Continues to Learn Daily: ‘Constant Analysis is Key’

Max Verstappen is celebrating a big milestone at the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend.

He will be racing his 200th Grand Prix at the Zandvoort circuit, making him one of the most seasoned drivers on the track. Even with all his experience and talent, Verstappen believes there’s always room for improvement. “I think every year you gain more and more experience,” he shared on Thursday. “That obviously helps. I think as a driver, of course, it also very much depends on the car whether you can show your full potential, to show how good you are. Of course, every year you want to try to be a little bit better than the year before.”

Verstappen is learning, even if it’s small steps

The Max Verstappen we see today is very different from the one in 2015. Back then, he was just a young talent; now he’s an experienced driver who picks his battles wisely. But even with all his growth, Verstappen feels he’s not done yet. It’s surprising because many already consider him one of the best in Formula 1 history.

“It’s not big steps anymore in Formula 1, it’s just fine-tuning little bits here and there,” he explained. “You always have moments in a season when you think, maybe I could have done a little better or I could have done it a little differently. And that’s what you analyze every time at the end of the year.” Fans might find it interesting that despite his success, he’s never completely satisfied.

What do you think? Can Max get even better?
