Schumacher Analyzes Top F1 Drivers: ‘Hamilton Won’t Reach That Level’

The ongoing debate in Formula 1 circles around one question: Who’s the greatest driver ever? Some say Ayrton Senna, others pick Lewis Hamilton, and many argue for Max Verstappen. Ralf Schumacher, with a hint of bias, insists that his brother Michael Schumacher is the true GOAT.

Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton both boast seven world titles. While Michael won 91 races, Hamilton has clinched 105 victories. Yet, Ralf firmly believes his brother’s legacy stands unmatched. “Even Lewis Hamilton will never get there. Not for light years, in my opinion,” he remarked during an interview.

‘Hamilton cannot walk on water’

Ralf thinks Verstappen might outshine Hamilton’s skills. “We thought Lewis Hamilton could walk on water. That doesn’t work,” he said. “We thought Max Verstappen could walk on water. Although in my opinion he could actually go further than Lewis Hamilton in terms of talent.” Fans might wonder if this prediction will come true.

Comparing Michael and Verstappen, Ralf notes their ability to make a difference on the track. “[Michael] made the difference, as Verstappen is doing at the moment.” He acknowledges that Michael was fortunate to be with Ferrari when they ruled F1 from 2000 to 2004. Similarly, Hamilton found success with Mercedes.

What do you think? Is there a driver who truly stands above the rest?
