Sauber C44 F1 Car Launch: First 2024 Formula 1 Reveal

Sauber just kicked off the 2025 F1 season in style, becoming the first team to show off their new car at the massive F1 75 event in London’s O2 Arena.

The Swiss team’s new machine, dubbed the C45, keeps the striking green and black color scheme thanks to their main sponsor Stake.

It’s a pretty big deal this year – for the first time ever, all F1 teams are unveiling their cars together at one huge event. While some teams jumped the gun with early reveals, Sauber waited for the main show.

Nico Hulkenberg and fresh-faced Formula 2 champ Gabriel Bortoleto did the honors, pulling back the covers on their new ride. They’re the new driver pair after Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou left the team.

This isn’t just any regular season for Sauber. They’re in the middle of a huge transition, with Audi set to take over in 2026. That makes every development on this year’s car extra interesting – it could give us hints about what’s coming when the German manufacturer steps in.

"Never stop fighting – 2025, we’re ready!" the team declared as they showed off the C45.

The reveal at the O2 Arena marks a new chapter in F1 history. It’s the first time fans get to see all the new cars together, creating a festival-like atmosphere for the sport’s traditional pre-season unveilings.

The real test will come when the car hits the track, but for now, Sauber’s lean, green machine has set the bar for what’s shaping up to be an exciting season of reveals.
