Sergio Perez is getting a new chassis for the upcoming race in Brazil. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen will have a fresh engine as Red Bull aims to regain its position in the Constructors’ Championship.
In Mexico, things went south for Perez. He couldn’t get past Q1 and made a mistake on the starting grid by positioning himself too far forward. During the race, he tangled with Liam Lawson, causing damage twice, and ended up finishing last.
New Chassis for Perez
To boost performance, Red Bull has opted to switch out Perez’s chassis before the Brazilian Grand Prix. Interestingly, it’s not a brand-new one but rather an older model he’s used previously.
