The FIA has revealed the new updates for the 2024 Singapore GP.
Top teams in the constructors’ standings made changes, except for Mercedes, who brought no new parts.
Red Bull tweaked the RB20 by enlarging the front brake duct exit to handle Singapore’s heat. McLaren, after leading in Baku, added a higher downforce beam wing. Ferrari upgraded their front wing for better performance. Alpine and Williams also made performance improvements, while Aston Martin and VCARB focused on circuit-specific changes. Haas and Stake F1, like Mercedes, didn’t change anything.
Updates for Singapore GP:
Red Bull’s adjustment aims to keep their car cool in the hot Asian climate. McLaren’s update is all about increasing downforce for better grip on the track. Ferrari’s new front wing should help them go faster and be more competitive.
Fans might wonder why Mercedes chose not to make any updates this time around.
Alpine and Williams are looking to boost their performance with their latest tweaks. Aston Martin and VCARB are only focusing on what works best at Marina Bay Street Circuit. Meanwhile, Haas and Stake F1 decided to stick with their current setups.
What do you think about these updates? Do you agree with Mercedes’ decision?
