Red Bull Racing has added another big name to their growing list of sponsors, teaming up with cyber security company 1Password in a multi-year deal that’ll put their logo front and center on the team’s cars.
The partnership goes way beyond just slapping a logo on the car. You’ll spot the 1Password name on some pretty important real estate – the halo, chassis, and even Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson‘s steering wheels.
The company’s branding will be impossible to miss in the garage too, showing up on everything from pit crew uniforms to team gear.
While nobody’s talking money yet, it’s probably not cheap to get your name plastered all over the defending world champions’ cars.
Christian Horner, Red Bull’s team boss, seems pretty excited about having a serious cyber security partner on board.
“Everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing is excited to welcome 1Password to the Red Bull family,” Horner said. “With the 2025 season coming up, we need to make sure all our sensitive data stays exactly where it should – with us.”
It makes sense when you think about it. These F1 teams are basically rolling laboratories of secret tech and data. Having strong cyber security isn’t just nice to have – it’s absolutely crucial.
The team will be using 1Password’s services themselves, protecting everything from race strategy to car development secrets at their Milton Keynes factory.
This is just the latest big-name sponsor to join forces with Red Bull, who’ve been on quite a roll both on and off the track lately.
