Red Bull Chaos: Schumacher Shocked by ‘Unbelievable Display’

Red Bull’s driver chaos leaves Schumacher stunned

Ralf Schumacher can’t believe what’s happening at Red Bull Racing right now. The team’s apparent consideration of a driver swap after Liam Lawson‘s rough start has the former F1 driver shaking his head.

“Incredibly bad from a management point of view,” Schumacher told Sky Sports Germany.

He thinks the potential move makes absolutely no sense.

“They destabilize the well-performing Racing Bulls team, which is finally coming on strong with both drivers, and they burn Tsunoda, who, while better, also has no chance against Max,” he explained.

The German ex-driver didn’t hold back his frustration.

“This is pure chaos at Red Bull. Not only is the main team too slow, but now they’re swapping drivers. This display I find really unbelievable.”

## The Verstappen effect

Schumacher believes Lawson would just become the next victim of Max Verstappen‘s dominance.

“He would be the next driver to add Verstappen to his list,” he said.

That’s not exactly a club anyone wants to join. Pierre Gasly, Alexander Albon and Sergio Perez have all struggled massively alongside the Dutch champion.

“Getting in the car next to Verstappen? I would think twice about that,” Schumacher warned.

The numbers tell the story. Tsunoda has qualified for every Q3 or SQ3 session this season and even scored points in the China Sprint.

Lawson, meanwhile, hasn’t even made it to the second qualifying session yet and remains pointless.

Would Tsunoda really want to risk his growing reputation by stepping into what’s become a career danger zone for so many drivers? That’s the question Red Bull management seems to be ignoring in their scramble for solutions.
