Red Bull Accidentally Leaks Verstappen News Through Early Merchandise Release

Max Verstappen has joined forces with AlphaTauri as their new brand ambassador, adding another partnership to the three-time F1 champion’s growing portfolio.

But here’s the funny part – fans spotted the deal before it was even announced.

Sharp-eyed followers noticed Verstappen’s connection with Red Bull’s fashion brand when a 2025 cap showed up early on CMC Motorsports’ website. The £51 hat featured the AlphaTauri logo right there on the side, jumping the gun on Tuesday’s official announcement.

“I’m excited for the new season with AlphaTauri,” Verstappen said. “Their commitment to combining style with functionality fits perfectly with my lifestyle, both on and off the track.”

The Dutch racing star isn’t just talking business – he’s actually been wearing the brand for a while now.

“I use it everywhere I go,” he admitted. “Being able to wear stylish clothing on and around the track, and back at home, is just fantastic.”

For those who might not know, AlphaTauri is Red Bull’s premium fashion brand, launched in 2016 and based in Salzburg – the same Austrian city where Red Bull calls home.

The brand’s name might sound familiar to F1 fans. It was plastered on Red Bull’s sister team from 2020 to 2023, back when they were known as Scuderia AlphaTauri. That team’s now gone through a couple more name changes – first to Visa Cash App RB for 2024, and they’ll be racing as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls in 2025.

This partnership makes perfect sense, really. Verstappen’s already part of the Red Bull family, and now he’s helping them sell clothes too. Pretty smart move for both sides.
