Norris Saves McLaren with Last-Minute Catch in Dramatic F1 Moment

Lando Norris just had a heart-stopping moment at Turn 4 during testing today, narrowly avoiding what could have been a nasty crash.

The McLaren driver was pushing hard on C3 tires with about two hours and twenty minutes left in the morning session when disaster nearly struck.

Coming out of the notorious Turn 4 – which has been giving drivers headaches throughout testing – Norris suddenly lost the rear end.

His McLaren snapped sideways, sending him wide off the track in a moment that had everyone holding their breath.

Somehow, he managed to keep it out of the wall.

That quick save definitely made life a lot easier for the McLaren team, who would’ve faced a major repair job otherwise.

After the close call, Norris stopped on track for a bit to collect himself before continuing. Officials briefly waved the yellow flag during the incident.

The dramatic moment was caught on camera, showing just how close the British driver came to ending his test day early.

Turn 4 continues to be a real challenge for drivers, with Norris just the latest to find its limits. His quick reflexes made all the difference between a scary moment and a potentially session-ending crash.
