It’s a hectic Saturday in Barcelona with the stewards having their hands full. The practice session ended with some unexpected drama involving Lewis Hamilton and Lance Stroll.
Hamilton and Stroll had a slow-speed collision, followed by Charles Leclerc seemingly making intentional contact with Lando Norris after feeling obstructed by him.
Incidents on Track:
The trouble began when Hamilton accidentally blocked Stroll. He quickly pulled over to apologize, but Stroll wasn’t satisfied and appeared to drive his Aston Martin into Hamilton’s Mercedes. It was a childish move from Stroll, but luckily, Hamilton’s car remained undamaged. Both drivers were summoned to the stewards at 14:00.
Next up were Norris and Leclerc. Norris got in Leclerc’s way, which led to Leclerc overtaking him and then cutting him off. This resulted in damage to the front of Norris’ McLaren. Fans might think this could lead to a grid penalty for Leclerc.
At 14:15, both Norris and Leclerc had their meeting with the stewards.
