Max Verstappen won’t reveal his weaknesses to anyone
“I will never tell you! You would never say something like that about yourself. Even if you know what it is, you try to work on it, and that’s it,” the Red Bull Racing star insisted when a fan tried to get him to spill his flaws during a recent WIRED YouTube interview.
It’s classic Verstappen.
The four-time world champion has built his reputation on staying cool under pressure and giving nothing away to opponents or media.
His refusal to share vulnerabilities comes as no surprise to F1 insiders. Former team manager Peter Windsor has often praised the Dutchman’s ability to stay completely unfazed when the stakes are highest.
Keeping his weaknesses private? That’s just part of what makes Max, well, Max.
Verstappen loves the rain that other drivers fear
When asked about wet-weather racing being boring, Verstappen didn’t hold back.
“I strongly disagree,” he said.
The Red Bull driver actually enjoys racing in the rain because it tests drivers’ skills in ways that dry conditions simply don’t. He believes these challenging races can be some of the most entertaining for fans.
He did acknowledge that safety matters, noting that rainfall intensity and track conditions always need careful consideration before wet races proceed.
This weekend, Verstappen heads to the Lusail International Circuit for the Qatar Grand Prix, where he’ll look to extend his championship dominance.
