F1 Live – FP1 from the Hungarian Grand Prix

What Has Happened So Far in 2024?

Initially, it seemed like Max Verstappen and Red Bull would dominate again after Bahrain. However, things changed quickly. In 12 rounds, we’ve seen six different winners from four teams. Carlos Sainz and Ferrari won in Australia after Verstappen had to retire. Lando Norris got his first win in Miami thanks to a well-timed safety car, while Verstappen struggled with speed.

Monaco was tough for Red Bull; Verstappen finished sixth as Charles Leclerc won on his home streets. In Austria, an incident between Verstappen and Norris allowed George Russell to take victory for Mercedes. The team celebrated another win when Lewis Hamilton secured his 104th career victory at Silverstone.

Fans might think it’s exciting to see so many different winners this season.

After winning at Silverstone, Hamilton could be ready to fight for another victory. He loves racing in Budapest and has already won there eight times! Will Mercedes continue challenging the top teams? And can Ferrari bounce back after a rough few races?

What Format Will the Hungarian Grand Prix Use?

The traditional format will be used again for this Grand Prix. There are two practice sessions on Friday and one more on Saturday morning. Qualifying happens Saturday afternoon to set up Sunday’s race grid. FP1 is crucial as drivers get familiar with the track and gather important data for their teams.

Do you think Hamilton will win again or will someone else surprise us?
