What Has Happened Already in 2024?

This season hasn’t been all about Verstappen as many thought it would be. While he comfortably won in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, other teams have caught up to Red Bull. Carlos Sainz took victory in Australia, then Verstappen won in Japan and China. Lando Norris celebrated his first win in Miami but lost to Verstappen by just seven-tenths of a second in Imola. Charles Leclerc finally won his home race in Monaco, but Verstappen claimed wins six and seven of the season in Canada and Spain.

Since then, no more wins for Verstappen or Red Bull. George Russell triumphed in Austin after an incident between Verstappen and Norris. Lewis Hamilton made history by winning his ninth British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Oscar Piastri got his first F1 win in Hungary despite some team drama. Russell crossed the finish line first in Belgium but was later disqualified, handing the win to Hamilton.

Fans might think this season is full of surprises!

Yesterday’s sessions saw Lando Norris leading a rainy FP1, while George Russell led a much drier FP2. Now it’s time to follow the final practice session before qualifying with our live blog!
