Lewis Hamilton Shares Childhood Dreams, One Still Within Reach

Lewis Hamilton reveals childhood dreams – and one might still come true

Lewis Hamilton just opened up about what he dreamed of becoming as a kid, and surprisingly, one of those dreams might still be within reach despite his legendary F1 career.

“I want to be either an astronaut, Ayrton [Senna], or Superman. So those are my three dreams as a kid,” Hamilton shared in a recent video on Formula 1’s Instagram.

The seven-time world champion thinks there’s still a chance to fulfill at least one of those aspirations.

“There’s still time to be an astronaut,” he said with enthusiasm.

Hamilton even revealed he’s already made connections in the space world.

“I know an astronaut, and I’ve spoken to an astronaut on the space station through FaceTime, and he’s floating in space, and I’m like, I don’t believe it. I said, ‘Show me your colleague.’ So he turns the camera around, and his friend is just floating there on the laptop. It’s cool, the coolest cool ever.”

While becoming Superman might be off the table, Hamilton has certainly followed in the footsteps of his idol Ayrton Senna.

Since joining Formula 1 in 2007, the British driver has become one of the greatest to ever compete in the sport.

He holds the record for most race victories and shares the record for most driver championships.

Not bad for a kid with big dreams.

Ferrari told to listen to Hamilton

Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya believes Ferrari could become unstoppable if they start paying attention to Hamilton’s feedback.

The Colombian thinks Hamilton has plenty to prove at his new team and won’t easily accept defeat.

Montoya feels that while Hamilton is putting in tremendous effort, Ferrari hasn’t yet matched his intensity and commitment.

If the Italian team starts listening to their star driver, they might unlock even more of his legendary potential.
