Lewis Hamilton‘s final races with Mercedes will carry a special touch – 150 lucky fans will have their names printed on his car for his last drive with the team in Abu Dhabi.
It’s a fitting tribute to one of F1’s most successful partnerships. Hamilton and Mercedes have been together for 12 incredible years, racking up six world championships along the way.
“TeamLH, you’ve always been here. Through all the ups and downs, every step of the way,” Hamilton shared on social media. “I can’t think of anything better than carrying as many of your names as possible on my car in the final race of the season.”
Want your name on his car? You’ve got until November 26th at 11:59 PM GMT to enter. Just follow the link in Hamilton’s social media post.
The numbers behind their partnership are pretty amazing. Hamilton didn’t just win championships – he made history with Mercedes. He became the first driver ever to win 100 races and grab 100 pole positions.
Together, they were unstoppable from 2014 to 2021, winning every constructors’ championship during that stretch.
But lately, things haven’t been so rosy. Since that heartbreaking loss to Max Verstappen in 2021, when Hamilton was chasing a record eighth title, Mercedes has struggled to keep up with their rivals.
This season’s been particularly tough. The team’s likely to finish fourth, behind Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren. Hamilton’s sitting seventh in the championship after a disappointing race in Brazil.
He’s got just three races left in silver – including this weekend’s glitzy Las Vegas Grand Prix – before he makes his shocking move to Ferrari for 2025.
For Hamilton and Mercedes fans, it’s the end of an era. But first, there’s a chance to be part of history – right there on his car for one last ride.
