Leclerc Reduces Stress: ‘Let’s Not Focus on That’

Ferrari is determined to catch up with McLaren in the constructors’ championship.

With only three races left in Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi, Charles Leclerc shared his thoughts on their chances.

Leclerc on the Constructors’ Championship

After a victory at the Circuit of the Americas and Carlos Sainz‘s first-place finish in Mexico City, Ferrari climbed to second place in the standings, trailing McLaren by 36 points. “It would be very, very important,” Leclerc said in Brazil. “Especially after so many years, Ferrari being out of chances of winning that world title, so, it’s important.”

He continued by emphasizing a step-by-step approach: “We are just focusing step by step. We really believe that this is the way forward in order to give ourselves the best chance in order to win the championship, we’ve got to not think about it too much.” Fans might wonder if this strategy will pay off.

Leclerc also mentioned that the team has great momentum and high motivation. “We have good momentum, the motivation is super high in the team and we need to use that to do a very good short term, and then we’ll see at the end of the season how it goes,” he concluded with optimism.

What do you think? Will Ferrari close the gap?
