Lando Norris is in hot water for his wild driving during a tense last lap with Charles Leclerc.
The British racer lost his second-place spot at the beginning of the final lap and faced intense pressure from Leclerc, leading to a near-collision that forced Leclerc to swerve out of harm’s way.
Investigation Looms Over Norris
Norris must make every race count if he wants to catch up to Max Verstappen in the World Championship standings. After the sprint, he was already trailing by 54 points. Any penalties could widen this gap even further. Leclerc has accused Norris of shifting positions while braking.
During a press conference, Norris learned about the investigation. “Okay. I don’t know where. The one where you have to turn and brake all the way around? You brake in the corner, so makes sense to be honest,” he said, sounding puzzled yet resigned.
