The British Grand Prix was drenched in rain, but the Hungarian Grand Prix promises warmer and drier weather.
Weather Forecast for the Hungarian Grand Prix
Mogyoród, home to the Hungaroring, has been issued a warning for extreme heat. Following that, there was a thunderstorm alert. Currently, there’s still a moderate risk of thunderstorms.
Friday’s practice sessions were scorching with temperatures soaring above 30°C. The skies were mostly clear with gentle breezes at five miles per hour. Unlike the rainy British GP weekend, there was no chance of rain on Friday. Saturday saw similar hot conditions but brought some rain during qualifying.
Sunday’s race kicks off at 2 PM UK time under partly cloudy skies and around 30°C temperatures. There’s a tiny six percent chance of rain. This warm weather is quite different from Silverstone and adds another challenge for teams as they fight for the title.
