Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner is turning up the heat on Sergio Perez as they gear up for the United States Grand Prix. Despite a strong start, Red Bull has slipped behind McLaren in the Constructors’ Championship, and Horner predicts an even more challenging 2025 season due to fierce competition from other top teams.
Perez kicked off the year by supporting Max Verstappen effectively, helping Red Bull secure three one-two finishes in the first four races. However, since then, he hasn’t reached the podium and has often lagged behind McLaren, Mercedes, and Ferrari. Horner wants this sorted out before 2025.

Horner is eager to see how Lawson measures up against Tsunoda. “We desperately need answers,” he shared with Motorsport.com.
When considering their rivals, Horner noted that Ferrari will be formidable next year with Hamilton and Leclerc. McLaren also boasts a strong duo with Norris and Piastri. “We need to make sure there’s no big gap between our drivers because you can’t afford that,” Horner emphasized.
