Horner really likes Ricciardo.
He brought him back to Red Bull Racing as a third driver after McLaren ended his contract early. Horner gave him another chance at Visa Cash App RB but later replaced him with Liam Lawson.
Thanks for everything (except the shoeys)
“Thank you for the wins, smiles, songs (and I wish I could say the shoeys), you will always be a special part of the Red Bull Family. 8 wins, 32 podiums, 1329 points. These statistics and accolades are not the only measure of who you are and what you have achieved. Thank you Daniel,” Horner concluded.
Fans might feel sad about this news.
It’s still unknown if Ricciardo will leave Red Bull Racing forever or come back to his original role from early 2023. On Thursday, Ricciardo hinted that his F1 career might be over.
