Hamilton Teams Up with Dior
Dior shared on X that they are excited to have the seven-time world champion as an ambassador. Together with Kim Jones, they plan to release a ‘winter ready lifestyle capsule’. Hamilton retweeted saying, “Been working on this one for a while, can’t wait to show more.”
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, it was revealed that Hamilton and Jones have created a skiwear collection using eco-friendly materials. The inspiration behind it is Africa. They met backstage at Paris Fashion Week in 2016, where Hamilton often goes. He emphasized how important sustainability is: “Making it sustainable was key. When you’ve got a big house like Dior pushing that technology as well, hopefully, the goal is always to encourage all the other brands to want to start doing the same because so many just are not conscious.”
Fans might think this collaboration is really cool and stylish.
During race weekends, Hamilton is known for his fashionable outfits in the paddock. He shared in the exclusive interview: “I think about me as an 8-year-old watching TV. They’ll be asking their parents, ‘Why is Lewis wearing that?’ And it starts a conversation at the table.” He added how risky it felt at first because people wrote negatively about his style choices. But over time, people started appreciating his fashion sense and noticed its positive impact on his racing performance. Other drivers also began expressing themselves more through fashion.
