Gasly Reveals Special Fan Experience Plans for Australian GP

Pierre Gasly is giving fans a chance to make F1 history by designing his race helmet for the 2025 Australian Grand Prix season opener.

The Alpine driver will wear the winning fan’s design throughout the entire race weekend at Albert Park, scheduled for March 14-16.

It’s not just about the helmet design. The lucky winner will get to meet Gasly virtually, receive a signed replica of their creation, and enjoy a VIP race day experience in Melbourne.

“Our last helmet contest in Abu Dhabi was pretty amazing,” Gasly said. “Meeting the winner and seeing all that creative energy from the fans was incredible. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with for Australia.”

The competition is being run through Binance, the cryptocurrency exchange company that partners with Alpine.

Gasly’s looking to bounce back after a tough 2024 season, though he finished strong with a podium in Brazil and fifth place in Qatar. Those results helped Alpine climb to sixth in the championship.

The French driver’s feeling confident about his team’s progress. “What really makes me happy is how everything we find at the factory actually works on track,” he said. “When our wind tunnel shows something good, it translates to real performance. That’s huge for us.”

The helmet design contest adds extra excitement to what’s already shaping up to be a promising start to 2025 for Gasly and Alpine.

The winning design will be revealed at the beginning of race week in Melbourne, giving fans something extra special to look forward to at the season opener.
