Ferrari SF-26 Launch: Fiorano Test Drive Confirmed, Fans Excited

Ferrari’s Fiorano test day set for January 23 ahead of pivotal 2026 season

Ferrari will hold their traditional Fiorano shakedown on January 23, the same day they’ll launch their new SF-26 car for the upcoming Formula 1 season.

While last year’s buildup centered around seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton‘s blockbuster move to the Italian team, 2026 brings its own excitement with brand new F1 regulations on the horizon.

Earlier this week, Ferrari revealed the race suits Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will wear this season, giving fans their first glimpse of the iconic duo in matching red.

Hamilton will have a new race engineer for 2026. Despite earlier reports that Riccardo Adami would continue working with the British driver, Ferrari announced a change in plans. Adami will instead remain in his role as Driver Academy and Test Previous Cars Manager.

The pressure is mounting at the legendary Italian team.

Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes major changes could be coming if Ferrari doesn’t deliver results this season.

“If that doesn’t work again, then of course there will be decisions. I’m pretty sure about that,” Schumacher explained on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast.

He added: “But everyone knows that. That’s nothing new with Ferrari. There is a wonderful statistic, how many team principals have already been there and how often drivers have been changed.”
