F1 Teams Share New Year 2025 Messages & Celebrations

The countdown to Formula 1’s 2025 season is officially on, with just 74 days until cars hit the track at the Australian Grand Prix on March 16.

F1 teams and drivers kicked off the New Year in style, flooding social media with messages for fans worldwide. Max Verstappen, fresh off his fourth world championship, led the celebrations with a heartfelt post looking ahead to what could be his toughest season yet.

The 2025 season is shaping up to be a game-changer for F1. Verstappen’s iron grip on the sport loosened a bit in 2024, and now he’s got a new teammate to deal with – Liam Lawson is stepping in to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull.

But that’s just the start of the shake-ups.

In what might be the biggest move in years, Lewis Hamilton is trading his Mercedes silver for Ferrari red, pairing up with Charles Leclerc in what promises to be an explosive partnership. Carlos Sainz is heading to Williams, while Esteban Ocon takes on a new challenge at Haas.

The rookie class of 2025 is looking pretty special too. Mercedes is taking a chance on teenage sensation Andrea Kimi Antonelli, while Racing Bulls brings in Isack Hadjar. Oliver Bearman gets his shot at Haas, Gabriel Bortoleto joins Sauber, and Jack Doohan lands at Alpine.

McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri kept things light with a fun New Year’s video message, while Ferrari went traditional with a "Buon Anno!" to their passionate fans.

Teams like Aston Martin and Haas thanked supporters for sticking with them through 2024, promising even better things ahead.

With all these changes, 2025 could be one of the most unpredictable F1 seasons we’ve seen in a long time. The first race can’t come soon enough.
