F1 Constructors’ Championship: Ferrari Drops 18 Points in Latest Standings

McLaren dominated the Chinese Grand Prix, scoring maximum points with an impressive one-two finish that extends their lead in the constructors’ standings. Red Bull managed to hold onto third place ahead of Ferrari.

The team put on a show at the Shanghai International Circuit, strengthening their position at the top of the standings. They’re now 21 points clear of Mercedes, who stayed in second place thanks to George Russell grabbing another podium finish.

Red Bull remains in third position with Max Verstappen as their only point-scorer so far this season.

The Dutchman picked up 12 points today, while Ferrari collected 18 points between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

Racing Bulls looked strong after qualifying and seemed poised to score big, but their strategy fell apart during the race.

Meanwhile, Haas F1 surprised everyone by overtaking the Faenza-based team, with both Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman finishing in the points.

In a dramatic post-race development, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly have all been disqualified.

This shakes up the standings significantly, with Ferrari losing a total of 18 points.
