Brazil GP Qualifying Delayed Amidst Torrential Rain

Rain has delayed the Brazilian GP qualifying session. The skies opened up just before qualifying after a dry Sprint.

Qualifying Delays and Rainy Forecasts

The Brazilian GP is no stranger to rain, and this weekend follows that tradition. Friday and the Sprint stayed dry, but half an hour before qualifying, dark clouds rolled in, bringing heavy rain. Because of this, the FIA decided to postpone the start of qualifying.

Saturday’s downpour was expected, but Sunday’s forecast looks even wetter with an 80% chance of rain for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. It seems like we might have a soggy race weekend ahead.

Fans might be wondering if the weather will throw some surprises into the race results.

What do you think about these rainy races? Do they make things more exciting or just messy?
