Adrian Newey is currently on a well-deserved holiday.
He recently mentioned that he might stay in Formula 1 because he would miss the work too much, but first, he needs a break as he’s feeling “a bit tired.”

Newey quoted Tom Hanks from Forrest Gump when talking about his future. His wife Amanda shared a picture of him on X, showing Adrian with a beer and wearing a t-shirt with the movie quote. The caption read: “Adrian told you he was tired and needed a holiday.”
Rumors are swirling about where Newey might go next. He’s been linked to several teams. Ferrari was thought to be in talks with him, but his manager Eddie Jordan said that’s not true. Williams’ boss James Vowles admitted he’s also talking with Newey. Mercedes, McLaren, Aston Martin, and even Alpine are interested too.
